A mother’s advice 100 years on

In the 1920s Ursula Bloom wrote a series of letters to her newborn son, Pip, with her thoughts and advice on life. Reading them one hundred years later it is fascinating to see how much has changed, and how much has remained the same, in our lives. Many of Ursula’s tips for life are as relevant today as they were when she wrote them, as well as being a poignant reflection of a now distant age.
